Rosy Meadowfoam
Limnanthaceae: Limnanthes douglasii var. rosea
First appearance: early March.
Habitat: Vernal marsh, wallow.
This white flower with rosy veins grows in masses in wet marshy spots, looking very much like foam atop the puddles.
